My name is Sara Scrivano and I created New Moon Healing in order to manifest a vision of holistic health care that is not limited to a single lens of health and wellness.

It was during my undergraduate career at Binghamton University where I started to discover my connection with holistic medicine. I had always known that helping others was a part of my purpose though didn’t always know the means through which I would fulfill this dream. Through my own personal journey of learning how to feel fulfilled and healthy in my body, I started to understand my role in helping others. I started practicing yoga and meditation, which eventually led me to learning about Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine and a variety of other practices. I became fascinated with the mind-body connection, plant medicines and therapeutic movement and started to put the pieces together of how I would help others.

Soon after I graduated from Binghamton I attended New York Chiropractic College and then the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for my graduate education. It was here that I deepened my learning and my love of holistic healthcare.

I am a Chiropractic physician, a licensed Acupuncturist and herbalist in New York state, and I am dedicated to bridging these therapeutic modalities to provide individualized care to every person I work with.

I am passionate about treating a variety of conditions including pelvic health, anxiety, chronic and acute pain, and much more. I utilize a combination of acupuncture, soft tissue release, mobility, rehabilitation, breath work and herbal medicine in order to facilitate the recovery of my patients.

While I have a certain skill set that allows me to perform various modalities, educating and empowering individuals to recognize the power they have over their own health is a vital piece of my practice. And I am here to hold space for each and every one of my patients while they progress through the many phases of their own personal growth and healing.
